"Winter Treasure Hunt" with GPS on Katschberg
"Geocaching" is a new electronic form of treasure hunt especially popular with children.With the help of a GPS device the aim is find the treasure. The clues are entered into the device and its the aim of the treasure hunters to track down the final treasure but cracking some clues along the way.
Geocaching was a very popular activity in Summer 2009, it involved the whole family and encouraged participants to explore more of the area.
We expect Geocaching to be even more exciting and popular this winter. Set off to discover the hidden treasure hiking from station to station and enter the magical world of enchanted fairytales. You may even come across the tracks of some interesting animals!
Our aim is to provide you the best possible family fun in a clean healthy invigorating environment. The level of the hunt is pre arranged, there is something to suit everyone and at every level.
So off you go and see all that is waiting to be discovered in the nature reserve between the national parks, Hohe Tauern and Nockberge.
