Basic knowledge about snow, choosing the right ascent route, improving skiing technique in deep snow, tour planning & risk management, snow & avalanche knowledge, the correct use of safety equipment (avalanche transceiver) and much more.

- Requirement: max. 6 persons for each guide, children from the age 14 years (accompanied by an adult), safe stem turns off-piste and solid skiing on black slopes
- Rental inclusive: Shovel, probe & avalanche transceiver (beep), if not available
- Equipment: ski tour clothing (layering), beverages and snack, sunglasses or ski goggles, sun protection, backpack with first aid kid & mobile phone

Ski tour trial day
Try ski touring once ...
On this beginner's tour, we'll show you the basics for your first ski tour. You don't have to be a perfect skier. We move in the area of an easy descent, possibly a prepared downhill slope. You can rent the right ski touring equipment from the SPORT SCHIFFER test center.
Content: How do I put on ski touring skins, how does my binding work? We start in easy terrain and show you the technique and how to use your safety equipment. We would be happy to advise you on purchasing the right equipment!

On a small practice tour, we will familiarize you with your safety equipment, which everyone should carry with them on tours, and practice the correct use of the avalanche transceiver. We would be happy to advise you on which equipment you really need!

Deep snow training
SKI TECHNIQUE TRAINING IN THE TERRAIN/DEEP SNOW!

Have more fun away from the pistes with targeted individual ski training in open terrain. Are you a solid skier on the slopes but have difficulties in the backcountry? You learn the necessary technique during deep snow training and improve your skiing skills. With a lot of practice and the right technique, your deep snow descents will be a pleasure.
Content: Material and equipment check, what do you need away from the secured ski slopes. We start with technique training on the ski slope, then we practice off-piste in the area. We improve skiing behavior and consolidate the correct movement sequences. We gradually apply what we have learned and familiarize ourselves with the different types of snow. We provide the current safety equipment such as avalanche transceiver (beeps), shovel & probe, if required.

3 days ski tour camp for beginners
Experience the fascinating, white winter landscape with all your senses! You don't have to be a perfect skier. We will show you how you can safely and enjoyably discover the trend sport of ski touring for yourself. Our ski touring camp begins in the evening when you arrive at your accommodation. On the following days we will take you on enjoyable ski tours in the Nockberge. You will learn a lot of interesting facts about the topic.
